"Seedster" Harvests Difficult Crops

The most innovative, efficient and highest value harvesting system available.

The Seedster’s advanced capabilities derive from Lee Arbuckle’s discovery of patented counter-rotating brush and combs to ‘pluck’ seed with low percentage of impurities. The remaining plant is intact as forage and ground cover.

Available in two configurations, the Seedster harvests many species of difficult-to-harvest native grass, wildflowers and shrubs. The Seedster-PCS consists of a header to dislodge seed, mounted on a tractor loader and Pneumatic Conveyance System and Collection Bin on a trailer. The Seedster-FH has a bottom drop Front Hopper as an integral part of the header. The patented operative mechanism is a 24-in. diameter brush that counter-rotates relative to a drum with rows of combs attached. The Seedster-PCS is especially useful for the harvest of small and light seeds. It comes fully equipped with a set of brushes and a set of combs mounted on the combing drums. Alternate combs and brushes for other species are available.

Designed by producers for producers, the
Seedster maximizes seed recovery through

adjustable variables including height, speed, and brush: comb clearance.
• Harvests many high value “difficult-to-harvest” seeds.
• Higher percentage of seed recovery from single or multiple harvest passes.
• Faster ground speed.
• Significantly reduces chaff and impurities.
• Reonfigures to harvest many seed species.
• Design simplicity eases set-up, calibration, operation & cleanout time.
• Easy in-cab calibration of brush and comb rpm.

Low cost of ownership and ability to mount on a common farm tractor (65 hp or higher) with PTO and a loader makes purchasing the Seedster an excellent business decision.
