Watch how the Native Seedsters™ ‘seed pluck-ing’ technology works on ‘hard-to-harvest’ grasses. Native Seedsters, Inc. of Billings, MT will demonstrate the Seedster FH-2 (Front Mount- 7ft wide) on grass species that will be harvest ready in mid-July.
• ‘Garrison’ creeping foxtail (Alopecurus arundinaceus)
• green needlegrass (Nassella viridula)
• bottlebrush squirreltail (Elymus elymoides)
• Indian ricegrass (Achnathyrum hymenoides)
• bluebunch wheatgrass (Pseudoroegneria spicata)
• Sandberg bluegrass (Poa secunda)

Because it is not possible to predict harvest readiness this far in advance, we are listing those species that historically have been harvested in mid-July in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming. We will work with area growers to have access to stands that are near or past maturity.
